A colourful gift from a visting artistPacita Abad (1946 - 2004)
She is no more in this world, a sad discovery
But her creativity opens a door
for me to step forth and marvel at the simplicity
of her unique art, hoping to see more
Life is such, nothing stays the same forever
everything changes even as I sit here
the seconds erode my youth and fervour
and the antidote is not to let time take over
The trick is to live life creatively and with creativity
So that we live by never having to count the hours.
